What the Heck?

Welcome to the Valley Advocate's Band Profiles, an online guide to the bands and musicians based in the Pioneer Valley. The profiles listed here are all created by the bands themselves and contain upcoming performance dates, pictures, descriptions, music samples, and video. (If you have questions or concerns about any of the content on the pages, please contact the bands directly.)

For the time being, the bands listed here are winners of our recent Grand Band Slam event, but soon we'll be providing access to the nominees, and later, any band that is interested can apply to us for a log-on.

Placement on the main menu is currently determined by which bands most recently updated their profile. Most recent updates appear large in the right-hand column.

We've got a lot of ideas for this section of the Valleyadvocate.com site, and over the coming months, we plan to expand and improve its functionality, eventually integrating it into the site. By next year's Grand Band Slam, we hope voters will use the band profiles to give them a better idea of the vast array of quality music available from Springfield to Brattleboro.

As we make updates and open the system to new bands, we'll update this page with those notifications.
