The Armida Project, a new two-act opera pastiche inspired by the character of Armida and created by director/choreographer Igor Konyukhov, follows a seductive enchantress who is both beautiful and dangerous. Sent to murder the crusader Rinaldo, she instead falls in love with him.

Valley Voices StorySlams
Academy of Music
A StorySlam competition is based on the art of storytelling. The first slam of the season takes place at UpBar at Hinge on Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m., with two more events leading up to a Best of Valley Voices production in the spring of 2015.
