Jack Cheng

Jack Cheng has taught art history and occasionally co-directed the Clemente Course in the Humanities in Boston since its inception. His PhD from Harvard was awarded for a thesis on the iconography of music in Mesopotamia. Jack has worked on excavations in Syria and Turkey and is a frequent contributor to PBS’s American Experience websites. He is the co-editor of Ancient Near Eastern Art in Context (2007).
