Daniel John Carroll
Daniel John Carroll is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Boston University's School of Music. He has presented multiple papers at academic conferences throughout the United States and Canada. Recent publications include over a dozen entries in the New Grove Dictionary of American Music, a musical score preface for Musikprodkution in Munich, and a forthcoming article in Phenomenological Inquiry. He was also a freelance arts writer for the Moscow-Pullman Daily News in Moscow, Idaho. Daniel enjoys the challenge of making music theory and music history accessible to general audiences by delivering pre-concert lectures, a recent example being his talk for the Idaho Falls Symphony Orchestra's performance of The Nutcracker.
