Tom Knoles is the Marcus A. McCorison Librarian at the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester Mass., where he has worked since 1990. He received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.A. and Ph. D. in Classics from Rutgers University. He has written on a variety of subjects and in particular manuscript culture in early New England. He is a member of the Colonial Society of Massachusetts and the Grolier Club. Tom lives with his wife Lucia (who is currently on the board of directors of Mass Humanities) in Worcester.
