Why would the world be in danger as the result of one small group of peoples' actions? I'm not saying it's not true, I'm asking why. It's a question worth thinking about.

I suspect the world was not in any more danger than the day before or after, save for our troops in harm's way overseas. The reason anyone knows about this small group (in my opinioin, of course) is because sensationalism and modern media technology combined to put trivial on a pedestal. And, it seems many people have nothing better to do than be pumped up by sensationalist journalism. That's probably the bigger factor. Without the willing audience, sensationalism wouldn't fly. Seems like it's been that way for forever. Now there's something worth thinking about, don't you think? Why do people like to get so worked up? Is it the adrenaline rush and the emotional high that comes with hot-headedness? Is it an opportunity to vent deeper frustrations? Hmmm.

The whole point was NOT to talk about that stuff, but okay. All I have to say to Joe is that you're either being sarcastic or disingenuous, I hope. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

The question is: Muslims have burned bibles and destroyed crosses in acts of protest in the past, and there was no grave warnings about retaliation in the form of violence. So, why would all Americans or Christians be in danger as the result of a pastor and 50 parishioners burning some Qurans? I'd like you to answer that question.
