Black Birch Vineyard
155 Glendale Rd.
Black Birch Vineyard planted its first grape vines in 2010. "We currently have two acres of vines planted with expansion planned for 2014 and 2015," says co-owner Mary Hamel. "We are known for locally produced, small-batch wine made from regionally sourced grapes. Our wines have won numerous medals and our 2012 Black Birch Vidal Blanc was named Best All Grown In State Wine at the 2013 Eastern States Wine Competition." Black Birch Vineyard is also known for providing a true vineyard experience in the Pioneer Valley: "We provide a spectacular venue to wine taste, tour the vineyard and then enjoy a picnic while taking in the view. We joyously embrace the art of winemaking and providing the vineyard experience."
