Ever-popular Carmelina's grows some of its own produce, which goes into dishes like the crazy alfredo, which includes sausage, chicken and roasted red peppers, and comes with spice levels ranked one through four. General manager Steve Tremblay says Carmelina's waitstaff gets high marks because of a hiring process that aims for "a can-do, positive attitude," and includes rigorous training in which staff learn about most jobs in the restaurant before they hit the floor.
