The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce has been bringing bigger and bigger talent to Greenfield for 25 years, and Green River Festival coordinator Becky George is excited to announce this year's lineup. The 2011 festival features headliners Toots and the Maytalls, the Carolina Chocolate Drops and Grammy award winner Emmy Lou Harris, in addition to its annual rotating roster of 20-plus bands on three stages. Check out hot air balloon rides, the night balloon illumination, artisan crafts and delicious local food, and if the kids have been there a tad too long, take refuge in the WRSI Meltdown (a kid zone with music and activities). It's a weekend-long event to plan your summer around.
