Amherst Brewing Co. has been in business 14 years, offering a full line of specialty brews made on the premises and plenty of American-style pub fare like fried pickles, burgers and fish and chips. For newcomers to craft brews, brewer John Geraci suggests the honey pilsner. On Fridays, he offers unusual choices like dry-hopped or barrel-aged beers. Owner Jon Korpita and general manager Clayton Leonard say the near future will bring a big change: a relocation to a bigger space (with 400 seats) on Amherst's University Drive.
