Although Mother Nature didn't help much this year, Berkshire East had lots of good snow, "which set us up for what proved to be a very solid year," says Marketing Director Christopher Loftus. While never having to waste time in a lift line is a part of the Beast's appeal, the mountain attracted a crowd this year, but one it was well equipped to accommodate with its new triple lift, expanded snow-making and recently added tubing park. The prospect for next season looks even brighter, says Loftus, with new improvements on tap, including more snow-making capacity and expanded tubing park. Of course, with BE's canopy tour zipline operation running year-round, there's no need to wait for the snow to fly before heading to the mountain for plenty of alpine fun.
