Nuttelman's Florist has stood on the corner of Prospect Street and Woodlawn Avenue in Northampton for 32 years. Chip Nuttelman attributes its success to "customer service, a good design group, and having top quality flowers available." With its own greenhouses on the premises, the store makes deliveries every day, working on customers' schedules. "We hardly ever say no to a request, and we try to get people what they want, whatever the occasion," says Nuttelman. When possible given the season, they keep their stock local, buying from nurseries in Amherst and Hadley.
