Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra since 1937, draws music lovers from around the world for 10 weeks of concerts and recitals by the BSO, visiting orchestras, preeminent guest musicians and popular artists. It is the home of the Tanglewood Music Festival and the Tanglewood Jazz Festival and houses the Tanglewood Music Center, an intensive summer training program for emerging professional musicians of exceptional ability.
