A Channel 40 institution for 17 years, broadcasting veteran and Southampton native Dave Madsen serves as his station's managing editor and anchors its prime evening and late-night newscasts. Madsen is also active in plenty of charitable and community causes, including the Jimmy Fund and the annual Muscular Dystrophy telethon, which he hosts for Channel 40.
