With the banking industry in rough shape, you might think that anyone working in the financial industry is in a gloomy mood. So why is Anne Pinkerton of the UMass Five College Federal Credit Union smiling? "We're a not-for-profit financial co-op," says Pinkerton. "We're distinctly different than banks."
