Dr. Scott Smith's orthodontic practice is an encyclopedia of innovations. Everything is so connected by computer that a patient first treated in one of his offices can be treated at any of the others, and records and X-rays can be sentanywhere in the world if someone has an orthodontic emergency in another country. In his treatment room there is bench seating for supporters of the patient: parents, siblings, grandparents. He is also an "elite premier provider" for Invisalign, an invisible, removable tooth-aligning device that, unlike metal braces, doesn't irritate the gums and make brushing difficult.
