Place for therapeutic massage
Owner Nanci Newton started The Healing Zone nine years ago in order to create her own environment in which to offer clients massage. Even with a move or two, those clients have followed. Newton and massage therapists Joe Hudson and Janice Peterman offer many varieties of massage: relaxation, deep tissue, pre-natal, infant massage, hot stone and massage for cancer patients through the Cancer Connection. Newton even offers massage for stressed Smith students at the college one day a week.
