Owners Larry and Jacky Severance opened the Loose Goose Café eight years ago in the Carriage Shops in Amherst. Since then, says Jacky, they've gotten to know a lot of people well. That's often through their lunch service, where diners find a large menu of jazz-themed sandwiches, including the popular "Miles," with chicken breast, avocado and homemade roasted shallot mayo. There are also vegetarian and vegan options, including a tasty vegetarian chili, and a wide range of coffee and beverages.
