Pho Saigon, a center for the Vietnamese community in Springfield, is now 20 years old and still draws rave reviews from diners new to or already familiar with Vietnamese cuisine. A big draw at this very affordable eatery is shrimp with lemongrass; another is ginger shrimp, and an unusual offering is the exotic housemade ice cream, including lychee, ginger, avocado and durian (a tropical fruit).
