Open since 2000 in Springfield (with a second location in East Longmeadow), Café Lebanon offers authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, and has recently begun introducing Mediterranean fare, says chef Nadim Kashouh. Kashouh is always looking to add new things to the menu. "You don't want people to get bored," he says. Popular items these days include swai, a white, flaky fish that can be ordered lightly battered and fried or pan-seared in a lemon-butter sauce, and lamb ribs glazed with sesame-ginger sauce. And don't forget the belly dancing on weekends.
