Tuna, yellowtail, salmon, avocado, green seaweed—these are flavor themes at Osaka, which now offers what it calls Japanese-French fusion in entrees and sushi (try lobster with apple and mango). Weekends are booming because the restaurant has three hibachi tables that will take 20 people each for parties, with plates starting under $20—a setting made to order for the drama of Japanese cooking, and Osaka's chefs rise to the occasion.
