This January marked the 19th year of an event that has raised significant money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund in Boston—more than $100,000 in the 2009 event alone. Held at Chez Josef and featuring a sampling of food from 30 area restaurants, this year's event—Around the World was its theme—drew more than 1,000 attendees. Co-Chair Barbara Sadowsky notes that the 2009 event was held in memory of Neal Webber, a longtime sponsor and president of Kittredge Equipment in Agawam who passed away in October 2008 after a long battle with cancer; Webber was 53.
