At Easthampton's Sunrise bakery, you'll find everything from old-fashioned handcut doughnuts and and wedding cakes to tasty deli sandwiches created by Assistant Bakery Manager Kim Jones. You can get the goods at their retail store, through a catered party, or at a wedding. Their business is hardly limited to Easthampton, though. Chef/owner Carl Charrette says he's seen firsthand "the power of the cookie" through a family connection—even some Springfield judges swear by the baked treats from Sunrise.
