Held every January at Chez Josef, Chefs for Jimmy offers food tastings by about 30 local restaurants, plus music, raffles and auctions. "It's a fun and casual evening," says event chair Barbara Sadowsky, who notes proudly that 90 cents of every dollar the Jimmy Fund raises at its many events (golf tournaments, a radiothon, an annual walk, Katelynn's Ride) goes directly to cancer research and care—including the $100,000 raised at this year's Chefs for Jimmy.
