Jim Crocker is the managing partner of Modern Myths, an independent specialty bookstore that has offered comic books, graphic novels and board games since September of 2002. Crocker says comics are becoming a mainstream medium, in part thanks to the slew of movies based on comics. Fans of comics, who are increasingly of all ages and both sexes, will find separate sections, like an old-fashioned bookstore, to accommodate the increasingly diverse subject matter comics address.
