This week the folks at Flywheel bring in a treat for lovers of the avant garde. Mixing experimental, minimalist instumentals with punk-influenced vocals, female-fronted No Wave band Priests brings a righteous fiery anger up from Washington, D.C, with support from Funsuck, Young Enthusiasts and Adult Fiction.

Jan. 7, 8 p.m., Flywheel, Old Easthampton Town Hall, 43 Main St., Easthampton, (413) 527-9800, www.flywheelarts.org.
