Citizen Sanders sees a groundswell of support from sea to shining sea, and the Valley is no different (just last week, the Springfield office for the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign officially opened its doors). Bernie has pledged to fuel his run for the White House with small donations rather than with fat checks from Big Money, and so far, the average contribution made to his campaign is about $25.
Every little bit counts — that’s the spirit of the Bands For Bernie fundraiser concert at The Sierra Grille on Thursday Feb. 4. Seven bands will play short sets: the reunited Aloha Steamtrain, Shokazoba, The Fawns, Speak!, Lux Deluxe, the Winterpills, and Vimana. Following the concert, toast a brighter future with Sierra Grille’s large selection of wines and beers. Entry is based on a $10 minimum donation. All proceeds go directly to the Bernie Sanders campaign.
