These two were done by Jim Fortier at Horseshoes and Hand Grenades in Chicopee. The ship represents my journey through life and conquering whatever comes its way. The torn masts show that it has been through a lot, but will continue its exploration no matter what. The beautiful mermaid symbolizes my inner ocean soul. I’ve always loved the aspect of water and how it can go wherever it wants to. She sits facing the ship, as if she’s watching over it.
