Home for the Holidays is more than the Theater Project’s annual holiday-season variety show. It represents a homecoming for area performers who have become a kind of family on the Majestic Theater stage over the years. An updated evocation of those sweater-clad seasonal shows from old-time TV, the show is hosted by singer Ray Guillemette, Jr. (above, at right), but he won’t be channeling Perry Como or Andy Williams, since he’s best known as the region’s premier Elvis impersonator. Other familiar faces — and voices — include those of Ben Ashley (pictured, above left), Luis Manzi and Sue Dzuira. The evening is directed by Cate Damon, with a live combo led by the ever-ebullient Mitch Chakour. This month’s festivities also include a holiday-themed comedy night by the resident Majesters improv troupe.

The holiday season also marks the kickoff of the Majestic’s annual raffle. No baskets of sweets and fruitcake for the prizewinners, but a pair of primo road machines: a 1965 Corvette Stingray and a 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster X. Tickets are $10.
