Elizabeth Denny found a platynota exasperating, and named her latest exhibition The Exasperating Platynota. That source of exasperation is in fact a moth, platynota exasperatana, which Denny photographed. The Florence artist employs a wide range of media to put together an interesting vision of the world. Her whimsical visions have been part of Easthampton’s Art in the Orchard, and include dynamic, readily accessible works like a rampaging file cabinet and a wheeled chicken.
