Fresh off a successful run of dates on the Mass Chaos tour with Bay State natives Staind and Godsmack, Pennsylvania band Halestorm brings its exciting live show to the Pearl Street ballroom in Northampton Tuesday.

Touring behind the release of its sophomore album The Strange Case of… (reviewed in the Advocate this week), Halestorm is powered by the charismatic brother-sister duo of Lzzy (see picture at right) and Arejay Hale along with Joe Hottinger (guitar) and Josh Smith (bass).

“I’m so proud of this record,” said Lzzy during a conference call in March before the album’s release. “We have a lot more energy, and you’re going to be hearing and tasting a lot of different things.”

First single “Love Bites (So Do I)” even reached the number one spot on Active Rock radio outlets nationwide, making Halestorm the first female-fronted group to achieve such a ranking. And current single “I Miss the Misery,” recently saw its music video debut on Maxim.com.
