Old and new methods of photography are on display this September at the Hosmer Gallery. In Digital Photography by Len Seeve the artist exhibits the results of his own creative rebirth through the advent of digital imaging. Seeve, a photographer for over 40 years, uses this new technology to focus less on the production side of things and more on the creative. The end result is work that "is intended to be viewed as a study in shape, color, and texture."

Meanwhile, in Black and White Photography by Robert Cantius (whose work is pictured), the Belchertown resident showcases a retrospective of over 40 years worth of his silver photographic prints. A "keen observer of people and their interactions with each other and their urban environment," Cantius approaches his work through his own unique experience, which he calls the "window and mirror."
